Long description

This set is designed for professional use both for private car service, multi brand service or even authorized service. It has mainly been designed for newer models, since 1997. Older vehicles in most cases had a different socket for diagnostics and reductions are needed. With this diagnostics, it is possible to completely diagnose all VW cars (Škoda, Audi, Seat, Volkswagen, Ford Galaxy) from around 1997. Vehicles of other brands can be diagnosed with OBD, OBD-II, EOBD standards.

The Profi suite includes VCDS Mobile, HEX-NET Wireless Interface, VIS Electronic Guide, and Online Services in up-to-date versions. Since the scan tool includes a hardware key, diagnostics can be used on any number of computers and all functions are available without limit or VIN ...

HEX-NET interface

The Hex-Net is designed for the VCDS and VCDS Mobile Diagnostic Program and works in two modes.

Access point

• Infrastructure

In Access mode, the HEX-NET interface connects to the vehicle to create a custom wireless network that can be connected to any mobile device such as a notebook, tablet, smartphone, PC, etc. In this case, all diagnostics with all the functions can be performed, besides Features requiring on-line connections. Another option to connect and diagnose a vehicle is VCDS Mobile, where it is possible to establish a vehicle-to-vehicle connection via an Internet browser and hence HEX-NET is not dependent on the operating system of the mobile device. In this mode, only autosken, read and clear memory defects, measured values, and logging are available.

In Infrastructure mode, HEX-NET connects to an existing Wifi network already connected to the Internet. A major benefit of this connection is that VCDS Cloud can be used and all diagnostic features, including on-line services, can be used.

The VAG-COM program are usually updated twice a year. The update price varies from 0,- Kč to 700, depending on the content of the update, and the user downloads it from its user account, which iets when purchasing the product, ensuring the customer has permanent access to the purchased programs.
