Locksmiths and mechanics

Historically locksmithing is related to the blacksmith craft. The blacksmith worked with the iron usually with hot, the locksmith then cold-iron treated by cutting, drilling, filing, etc. Among the locksmith's production, in addition to locks, there are door hinges, fittings, knockers, grilles, etc. Previously, narrower specializations such as watchmaking or jacking, which have either completely separated or disappeared. Locksmiths, key makers and lock repairers also separated from locksmiths. In English, only the word "locksmith" is used, but it is now closer to the term "locksmith", even though it was originally based on the smith's craft.

Qualification given by the qualification standard is required to perform the work of locksmith. The professional qualification of a locksmith does not include working with locks at all; Yet many locksmiths do locksmithing even though they do not have the appropriate qualifications or permission to do so (technical service concessions to protect property and persons) and thus essentially violate the law. Trade license for reporting craft trade "Locksmithing, toolmaking" is not enough to provide locksmith services! On the other hand, many locksmiths who have passed a professional examination for this qualification and have a concession are referred to as locksmiths because most people do not know the concept of locksmith.

As the only accredited training center in the Czech Republic, we offer you a training course Locksmith, accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic for work activities. We offer this educational program twice a year and is finished by the professional qualification Locksmith - Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic.

From the decision of the Ministry of the Interior File no. MV-146256-3 / OBVV / VO-2013 we are authorized to conduct professional qualifications Locksmith (code: 69-038-H). Applicants may not be trained. In order to pass the exam, it is necessary to have a practice in the field of Locksmith or to undergo a training course Locksmith, which is accredited under Ref. MSMT-313 / 2014-1 / 9140. We also offer all-day preparatory courses on the content of the exam for the Locksmith's professional qualification, which each locksmith should have to do his job.

Further from the decision of the Ministry of the Interior File no. MV-61817-3 / OBVV / VO-2014 we are authorized to carry out the professional qualification tests of Mechanic (Code: 69-045-H). Applicants may not be trained. In order to pass the exam, he needs practice in the field.
