ELF 2019
As every year, we visited the ELF 2019 international conference this year, which took place on May 10 - 11 in Bologna, Italy, at the Savoia Hotel Regency. We had the opportunity to meet our colleagues of the locksmith branch, representatives of exhibiting key business companies and specialists displaying hundreds of technology security solutions.
The visit of Keyline company
At the invitation of Keyline, on May 24, 2019, we visited the premise of the company, where a presentation was prepared for us and we were acquainted with the history of the company, which dates back to 1770. After the introductory presentation, we moved from the past to the present and learned that Keyline has three major divisions. Key blanks, key making machines and car chips for the car keys programming. We had the opportunity to see the entire production and looked into the production halls.
After lunch, the thirteenth chamber, the museum, was opened for us, where around 2000 pieces of historical locks and keys from around the world are collected. Wooden locks and keys of the 16th century from Mali, keys of the Roman Empire, locks of Nepal from 18th to 19th centuries and other countries. We received expert commentary on the entire collection.
